4-H Dog Show & Open Invitational – Tri-Rivers Fair

Sit. Stay. Show! The 4-H Dog Show and Open Invitational bring well-trained canines and their hardworking handlers into the spotlight. Come watch as local youth demonstrate obedience, showmanship, rally, and agility skills with their four-legged companions. It’s a high-energy event filled with tail wags, teamwork, and triumphs!

📅 Date: Saturday, July 25
🕘 Time: 8 a.m.

7:45 a.m. Check in for CKD 4-H
8 a.m. Fair classes begin
8:45 a.m. Check in for open classes
9 a.m. Open classes begin
**Open classes will not begin until after the completion of the fair classes

📍 Location: Ag Hall and 4H Building

Agility and Rally-O are on dirt floor. Obedience is on matted floor in an air conditioned building. This is a Kansas State Fair Qualifying event for eligible 4-H members.

🐕 Open Invitational: Welcomes community members to compete alongside 4-H members! Walk-ins welcome. Youth and adults, with trained dogs.

Whether you’re a dog lover or just love to cheer on young competitors, this is a can’t-miss event during the Tri-Rivers Fair!

Registration Information

$10 per class for entries submitted by 11:59 p.m., July 19th.

$15 per class for entries submitted after 12:00 a.m., July 20th.

Walk-in entries are accepted until 10:00 a.m. the day of the show.

Obedience Open A & B; Utility A & B must be pre-registered. Utility participants are asked to bring their own equipment.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs will NOT be allowed to participate if they are aggressive, ill or in season. Please help us keep our facility safe, clean and available for future use. Dogs MUST be on lead or in a crate/kennel when not in the ring. Clean up after your dog and remove all trash. Thank you for your cooperation!
