
Pee Wee Showmanship
Calling all future livestock showmen! The Pee Wee Showmanship event at the Tri-Rivers Fair is the perfect opportunity for young children to step into the show ring and get a hands-on experience with livestock. This fun, low-pressure event is designed for kids who are not yet old enough to participate in 4-H but are eager to learn and be part of the action!

Who Can Participate?
🐾 Open to kids ages 2-7, as of the date of the show.
🐾 Participants will be paired with an experienced exhibitor and animal
🐾 No prior experience required!
How to Register
To participate, please complete and submit the Pee Wee Showmanship Registration Form before the event.

➡️ You may fill out a registration form and bring it with you, or there will be copies that day.
Rules:
- Exhibitors may borrow a livestock animal from a 4-H or FFA member at the fair.
- This is a non-competitive “Just for Fun” event.
- All exhibitors will receive a ribbon, with no placings or winners announced.
- A “judge” will visit with the exhibitor and ask general questions such as “What is your animal’s name?” “What kind of animal is this?” or “What does this animal eat?”
- Exhibitors will have a choice of showing ONE animal selected from sheep, goat, or bucket calf.
- Exhibitors may have their pictures taken with the animal following the show.
- A “Consent and Release” form must be completed before showing.
- Due to sharp hooves, no open-toed shoes should be worn while showing.
