Grand Marshal: Carl Garten, Tri-Rivers Fair Board Past-President
Tri-Rivers Fair roots run deep in the Garten family. Carl’s mother was a Saline County 4-Her. He worked in Extension for forty-one years in Saline County and has participated in every Tri-Rivers Fair since 1977 either as an agent or a Fair Board member. His son was also a Saline County 4-Her for ten years. Thank you, Carl, for all your years of service and dedication to the Tri-Rivers Fair and Saline County!
Route: Santa Fe Ave., from Elm St. to Prescott
Fees: must be submitted with entry
–postmarked by July 15th: $20 (business), $10 (non-profit)
–postmarked between July 16th & 25th: $30 (business), $20 (non-profit)
–anything after July 25th (bring with you the day of the parade): $45 (business), $35 (non-profit)
*add $10 to any of the above fees for more than three units (vehicles, horses, etc.)
No fee for 4-H club entries.
No refunds for any reason.
Return your entry form no later than July 15th. Entries received after July 15th will be placed at the end of the parade. All advanced (received by July 25th) registrants will receive check-in instructions and directions, by e-mail, on August 1st. Late (after July 25th) registrants will receive directions when they register, at the fire station on Elm St., the day of the parade.
Help us keep our children safe! Do not throw any treats along the parade route! You may hand out treats as long as you remain close to the sidewalks to prevent children from darting out into the parade route. Those throwing treats will be removed from the parade.
Please note:
–No “Demo Derby” cars will be driven in the parade. They must be pulled on a trailer.
-Parade entries are limited to a maximum height of fourteen (14) feet.
-All horse entries will be at the end of the parade.
