Kick off the Tri-Rivers Fair with the annual Fair Parade, a community tradition filled with excitement, creativity, and hometown pride! Watch as local businesses, 4-H clubs, school groups, and organizations showcase their floats, vehicles, and performances down the streets of Salina.

📍 Route: Santa Fe Ave., from Elm St. to Prescott

Participate in the Parade!

Want to join the fun? Businesses, clubs, and individuals are invited to register a float, vehicle, or walking group. Show off your creativity and represent your organization in front of a large crowd of fairgoers!

  • Fees must be submitted with entry. See below for fees.
  • No fee for 4-H club entries.
  • No refunds for any reason.
  • No “Demo Derby” cars will be driven in the parade. They must be pulled on a trailer.
  • Parade entries are limited to a maximum height of fourteen (14) feet.
  • All horse entries will be at the end of the parade.
  • Help us keep our children safe! Do not throw any treats along the parade route! You may hand out treats as long as you remain close to the sidewalks to prevent children from darting out into the parade route. Those throwing treats will be removed from the parade.


🕒 Registration Deadlines and Fees as follows:

  • Postmarked by July 1st: $20 (business), $10 (non-profit)
  • Postmarked between July 2nd & 15th: $30 (business), $20 (non-profit)
  • Anything after July 15th (bring with you the day of the parade): $45 (business), $35 (non-profit)
  • *Add $10 to any of the above fees for more than three units (vehicles, horses, etc.)

Parade Rules & Line-Up Information

Participants must follow the official parade guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all. Details on check-in, line-up location, and staging instructions will be shared with registered participants before the event.

  • All advanced (received by July 15th) registrants will receive check-in instructions and directions, by e-mail, on July 25th.
  • Late (after July 15th) registrants will receive directions when they register, at the fire station on Elm St., the day of the parade.
