The Tri-Rivers Fair is proud to support the next generation of leaders through scholarships for youth involved in 4-H and the fair. These scholarships recognize dedication to agriculture, leadership, and community service.
Claude Lecklider Memorial (4-H/FFA Livestock) Scholarship
This scholarship honors the legacy of Claude Lecklider by supporting students who have demonstrated outstanding involvement in 4-H and the Tri-Rivers Fair.
- Must have completed at least 3 years of market livestock project work.
- Must have letter of recommendation from club/charter leader or project leader.
- Must be a high school Senior or Freshman in college.
- Applicant cannot have passed his/her 19th birthday before January 1st.
- Scholarship winner will be announced at the Tri-Rivers Fair Premium Auction.
- A 4-H/FFA member may win this scholarship one time.
Tri-Rivers Fair Scholarship
The Tri-Rivers Fair Scholarship is awarded to students who have participated in the fair and shown commitment to their projects, leadership, and community engagement.
- Number given and amount will vary based on funds available.
- The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize outstanding 4-H club or FFA chapter members who are leaders and role models within their communities.
- Members will receive scholarship monies for the spring semester of their first year at a community, technical, or baccalaureate institution.
- Must be a graduating senior (or its related equivalent) in 4-H or FFA, exhibited in the most recent Tri-Rivers Fair, and demonstrated scholarship and leadership capabilities.
- In addition to the application, applicants must include an essay, one page, double spaced, describing how their experiences at the Tri-Rivers Fair will positively impact their future goals.

Several other local scholarships are available to 4-H members, providing opportunities for further education. We encourage all eligible applicants to explore these resources.
